Tuffinbelt ultra hard wearing polyurethane butchers utility belts set the standard for quality, function and comfort. Fully designed and constructed to our own component specifications for years of tough professional work.
Hand built in Australia since 1968, they are used in all stages of commercial meat production – from the largest export abattoirs and meat processing facilities through to wholesale coldrooms and retail butcher shops.
Worn over the clothes and apron, our belts are used to carry a knife pouch and sharpening steel. Developed with hygiene as a primary focus, they are non-absorbent and resistant to oil and grease. Easy to clean and safely steam sterilize.
SPECIFICATIONS
Tuffinbelts are made using a commercially recyclable BASF® food contact approved grade of solid extruded polyurethane containing no PVC (vinyl), rubber, silicone or plasticisers. Combining elasticity and stability over a wide range of temperatures, this unique material demonstrates superior strength and durability. A true industrial plastic offering high resistance to cutting, tear propagation and abrasion.
The belts feature a fixed side clip attachment comprising a loop of clear polyurethane cord and billet hook to attach a sharpening steel. Both the hook and main belt buckle hardware are premium nickel-plated steel, specially made for us in England.
In the standard supplied layout the steel carrier is positioned on the left side as pictured. The belt can also be worn flipped 180º so as to have the clip on the right side instead, suiting both right and left handed users. Though if preferred, when specifically requested for left hand use we will invert the clip 180º as well.
Abattoirs placing quantity orders may request belts without attachment clips fitted if preferred.

We distribute wholesale across Australia to butcher supply companies, directly to abattoirs and meat processors, as well as export. Wholesale ordering requires a minimum purchase quantity, comprised of any mix of size and colour options. Please enquire for the current pricing.

Retail PURCHASES
Retail purchases are available through various butchers equipment retailers throughout Australia. Please ask your regular supplier.
You can also purchase from us directly by debit or credit card via Paypal. The retail supplied individual belt price is AUD60 total, which includes GST + postage on orders within Australia, and air postage on international orders which are sales tax free. Just choose your colour, size and clip mounting side via the cart options below. Quantities may be adjusted at the checkout.
Your order will be sent with a tax invoice/receipt enclosed. No site registration required, no after-marketing and we do not share your email or personal data with anyone. For food hygiene reasons belts cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a manufacturing fault, so please check your own measurements and sizing choice carefully before ordering.
